Competency 8 Resources
- NTEN have produced two surveys into non-profit ICT staffing, budgets, salaries, training and budgets. Although a US survey, it is still appropriate for the UK, especially when looking at small and medium sized organisations. Available as pdf downloads in two parts. you’ll need to provide a name and email address.
- A brief but handy list of (US) non-profit roles – not exactly essential but a useful overview.
Module 2 Resources
- A Guide to Managing ICT in the Voluntary and Community Sector - an ICT Hub publication – (pdf file 1.6Mb). An excellent overview of voluntary sector ICT management aimed at staff within organisations but equally appropriate and useful for learners. Also available as hard copy, Lasa have a stock.
- Idealware – www.idealware.org – has a vast repository of reviews of software and systems for the VCS along with running webinars and a email newsletter.
